Fat half Legacy Linen 37 ct Russian Tea Cake, available from NIAH (search Russian Tea Cake) or your LNS

7 spools Soie Gobelins: I used 779, alternate suggested colorways are listed above

Contrast thread for over one letters and numbers: I recommend Accentuate #021 with Soie Surfine 2241

1/2 yard red duchesse silk satin or alternate fabric of your choice

2 sheets scarlet German Ingres paper to match lining

4 sheets German Ingres paper in white or cream, see tutorial #1

1 sheet decorative paper for edges and bottom, I used the Small Green Florentine print

2 meters trim of your choice, I used the gilt exterior woven tape from Thistle Threads

Decorative feet (optional)

1 jar Yes Paste

4 oz bottle Jade 403 PVA

Pair of hinges of your choice, with 3/8” long screws to attach to box

100 lb. vellum Bristol paper to make pattern pieces
