My work focuses on large scale, dimensional pieces that bring together a range of techniques from various centuries and disciplines to attempt to create a new approach to this historic art.
I am particularly interested in the subtleties of color in embroidery, and my work is best known for its distinctive color palette, often anchored by green as I am a person to whom green speaks. Achieving the most range, depth, and texture out of a limited color palette is a continuing thread throughout my pieces and a continued area of exploration as I move forward.
