Restock: Chocolate Harts kit
The restock kits for Chocolate Harts are identical to the original conversion except for one thread that has been substituted (see last photo), the lighter green. A nearly identical 100/3 has been used and should not affect your finish in any meaningful way - all other threads are the same.
An original silk conversion for Plum Street Samplers’ pattern Chocolate Harts, including all threads and a cut of Legacy Linen 38 count Fuller’s Teazel with generous margins to allow for various finishing possibilities.
Please note that this does not include the chart, which you will need to provide, or the box as seen in photo 3. Details on what I used for finishing, as well as alternate possibilities and sources are included in your kit materials.
The conversion consists of 8 threads in a mix of Soie Gobelins and Soie 100/3 for a beautiful, versatile finish that speaks of spring, but isn’t strictly seasonal and can become a sewing box top, drum with stitched top, or a hanging to beautify your home.
